What is particularly noticeable in connection with the walnut tree is the fact that the ground under walnut trees is rarely overgrown. The tree releases the inhibitor cinnamic acid, which prevents other plants from competing for nutrients. From an energetic point of view, it can be assumed that the walnut helps to protect against parasites.
