In Europe, the beech is known as the “queen of deciduous trees”. In ancient times, the bark, wood and fruits of the beech, the beechnuts, were used for healing purposes. It seems that tea made from the bark has an anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effect. In the past, people slept on sacks filled with beech leaves. The scent of the leaves had a calming effect and promoted better sleep. It is no coincidence that the saying goes: “You shall seek beech, find lime, and flee from spruce!”

Each XALOS-DISC is individually and carefully crafted by an internationally known wood sculptor from the Canton of Bern (Switzerland) and afterwards tachyonized by me.
