Purifying - detoxifying

SEGIUN bamboo tea impresses with its wonderful aroma. This tea does not contain tein (so to speak, the caffeine of tea). Therefore, you can enjoy this drink without any restrictions!

Origin / Production

Our Sasa Bamboo Tea comes from the subtropical volcanic island of Jeju-do (제주도) in southern South Korea. It is a wild harvest and the tea is traditionally hand-picked, dried and roasted.

For the production of SEGIUN bamboo tea, only the pure leaf variety of Sasa bamboo is used, as it has the highest vitamin C and iron content. Bamboo leaf tea also contains all essential amino acids and is rich in minerals. Bamboo leaf tea is an alkaline tea rich in antioxidants.

A precious gift from nature

The hand-picked and hand-selected bamboo leaves are processed with great care. Only the pure young leaves of Sasa bamboo have the best quality sufficient for this exclusive tea. A traditional processing procedure lasting several days guarantees the best quality.

SEGIUN Sasa Bamboo Tea has a natural taste and refreshing effect. Therefore, it is also delicious as an iced tea during summer.

Ingredients

This tea is rich in minerals and trace elements and has a higher iron content than other varieties. Bamboo leaves also contain over 200 herbal active ingredients.

  • vitamin C
  • glucose and fructose
  • potassium
  • magnesium
  • unsaturated fatty acids
  • linolenic acid

Vitamin C is an antioxidant and protects against cell aging. It supports immunity by protecting immune cells from free radicals and stimulating the activity and mobility of white blood cells. It enables collagen synthesis and thus the maintenance of skin, gums and cartilage.

Glucose is essential for the body's function. It provides the energy that the cells need. It is stored in the form of glycogen in the liver and muscles and synthesized when energy demand increases.

Fructose proves to be an interesting substitute for sucrose in diabetes. It makes it possible to reduce daily sugar consumption without affecting the taste of food. Fructose is also useful in diabetes because, unlike fast sugars, it does not induce insulin secretion.

Potassium ensures the contraction of muscles and good nerve transmission. It provides a continuous impulse and thus enables optimal vitality of the vital organs (kidney, brain, liver, heart). Its supply is therefore essential.

Magnesium is known to be beneficial in states of stress, anxiety and tension due to its effect on muscle relaxation. Thus, it could prevent spasmophilia (also called "hyperventilation") due to its calming effect.

While saturated fatty acids, which are mainly found in animal foods, increase LDL cholesterol levels, unsaturated fatty acids lower LDL cholesterol and thus the risk of cardiovascular events.

Research and studies on linoleic acid show that CLA leads to a significant reduction in body fat and an increase in muscle mass.

In addition, this tea contains all amino acids. The functions and benefits of amino acids include: Muscle building and elasticity of tissues, nutrition of skin, hair and nails, transport of nutrients and oxygen in the body and to the brain.

This tea may prove useful in:

  • cystitis
  • arteriosclerosis
  • stress and exhaustion
  • cough and hoarseness
  • regulation of metabolism
  • hot flushes during menopause
  • stomach and intestinal problems
  • hypertension and low blood pressure
  • fever (this tea provides a slight cooling effect)

How to prepare bamboo tea

Pour approx. 0.75 to 1.0 liters of approx. 80° to 90° hot water over 1 bag of SEGIUN Bamboo Tea and let the tea steep. Depending on your taste, you can steep the tea for up to 12 minutes; without loss of quality.

To optimally support your detoxification cure or physical revitalization, it is recommended to drink about one liter of bamboo tea daily. You can also steep the same tea bag a second time, as it still contains a lot of residual energy. SEGIUN Sasa-bamboo tea can also be reheated; without loss of quality.

Other application examples

  • you can hang the tea bag in the water when cooking (vegetables, pasta, etc.)
  • in case of eye inflammation you can moisten the tea bag with not too hot water and put it on the eyes as a compress
  • in case of skin irritations you can moisten the tea bag with warm water and put it on the problem area (e.g. in the baby's diapers)
  • in case of swellings and cuts you can put the tea bag on them. It has a soothing effect.

The acid-alkaline balance

Since SEGIUN Sasa-bamboo tea is alkaline, you can drink it indefinitely. The acid-alkaline balance is an important concept for maintaining optimal health and is largely related to the quality of the diet, especially for the prevention of osteoporosis, bone and tendon disorders, inflammation and chronic fatigue.
