Zaphir Windchimes

The Zaphir chimes, renowned for over 30 years, are prized for their quality, their crystal-clear sound, and their exquisite colors. They are crafted with all our heart in our workshops in France by passionate artisans.

Each wind chime consists of 8 piano strings soldered with silver to their metal base. After assembly, they are then tuned one by one to within a tenth of a millimeter to achieve the precise harmonies that allow the overtones to interact when the bead moves in a circular or random motion.

The dimensions of the Zaphir chime are based on the principle of natural balance linked to Leonardo da Vinci’s golden ratio, a fundamental factor for the quality of the acoustic waves.

Nearly all components are eco-friendly, sustainable, recyclable, and comply with EEG standards. The wooden parts are coated with eco-friendly wax.
